In order to join First NRV Credit Union, you must live, work, worship, or attend school in Carroll County, Floyd County, Galax City, Pulaski County, Radford City, or Wythe County. Work for or own a business and/or other legal entities within one or more of these fields of membership. You are the spouse of a deceased individual who was within the fields of membership of this credit union.

Your membership with First NRV Credit Union begins when you open your Prime Shares account (Savings Account). All members are required to have this savings account, and also maintain a minimum balance of $5.00 within the account at all times. Open a Youth Savings Account at First NRV Credit Union today.

Share Certificates are virtually the same as that of a Certificate of Deposit (CD), except they don't share the same name!
These accounts are initially opened up with a specific amount of money, but once they are opened the funds within the account cannot be withdrawn until maturity - or penalties will apply to the interest earned - and you cannot deposit any additional funds to the account once the initial deposit has been made to the certificate.
