This place is so good. The hummus is so smooth and creamy and we really like the family that works there. If you want good Greek food, do yourself a favor and order from Kalita. It's in that strip mall anchored by Safeway on 28th and Arapahoe.

Wow. Pleasant surprise for a good lunch. Had the hero salad and it was so fresh and tasty. Large serving. I will definitely return!

Lentil soup: good flavor... but watery
Babaganoush:. Appreciate the Smokey undertone but needed some garlic ...or something
Hummus: disappointing
Stuffed grape leaves: good flavor
Falafel hard as a rock , very dry, good flavor
Tsadziki great!
Spanikopita- Whole Foods frozen is better
Lots of variety ...which is reflected in the high price
I might go back but i wouldn't order this "hit-or-miss" dish again.

A friend that I grew up with here in Denver came into town for a visit. Many years ago him and I used to frequent some of the best Greek restaurants in Denver. Because most of those restaurants no longer exist, and we were in the Boulder area anyway, by buddy, my girlfriend and I decided to give Kalita Grill a try. I ordered a Gyro Plate with lemon chicken soup, and for the table falafels, and the garlic feta fries. By far the garlic fries were the best thing on the table, so let's start there. Absolutely delicious...crispy coupled with crumbled feta and garlic aioli. Damn they were
