Schmitty & Sons began back in 1941 when Wilfrid Schmitt "Schmitty" began driving for the Orchard Lake Co-Op, a local transit company. In 1952, Schmitty purchased his bus and started transporting children for Lakeville Schools. This tradition of excellence has allowed the company to expand and prosper throughout the years.
