You can opt for this classic look with hand-hewn siding, hand-hewn timbers and beams, metal beam covers and posts.

Creative, classic birdhouses, mushrooms and other carvings, carved by a local artist, add a whimsical touch to your home and garden. The birdhouses are individually shaped, hollowed out, carved and fitted with a hinged bottom and a roof, and are typically 12-14 in diameter. Every carving is finished with outside varnishes or equivalent preservatives.

At Northwood, we're prepared to supply the timbers and other wood supplies for your complete log home or cottage. Working with your contractor or builder, we custom cut and prepare your log home timber package and deliver it on site. From outside to inside, the rustic beauty of log and wood homes is unique, a signature of quality and classic beauty.

Begun in 1979 as Bauman Lumber, the business was purchased by Edward and Sarah Martin in 2009, and renamed as Northwood Lumber.
