I attended public school in Fayetteville, NC, graduating from Pine Forest Senior High as valedictorian. Shortly thereafter, I served for two years as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Bahia Blanca, Argentina. Everything that I had been raised to believe in and do, such as loving and serving others, became an integral part of who I am.

I have not had an eye exam since I was a teenager. Now at 34, dealing with some neurological issues, I scheduled a medical eye exam with little knowledge of the process. I was thoroughly impressed by this office! Dr. Harrison was knowledgable, kind, and explained things thoroughly. He even offered to write a letter to my neurologist. I truly appreciated his level of care and concern and the time he took to explain ophthalmological terms that would have otherwise been gibberish to me 🙂 The staff were all kind and accommodating, from the time I made the first call to the time I finished my appointment

Dr. Gwynn is not only the best eye care physician in the area, he is the best physician. I had been a nurse for 30 years, so I can tell when you are getting quality care. Dr. Gwynn is not only professional and knowledgeable, he is compassionate and goes the extra mille for his patients. I recommend him without any reservations.

If you want a complete and comprehensive eye exam, this is the place to go. Dr. Gwynn is great and is very thorough. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend you get your next eye exam here. My latest prescription was spot on and I've never seen more clearly. I've been to the bigger optician near the hospital and while they are good, Eye Care on the Ridge is better. The "smaller" atmosphere makes you feel more at home rather than being on assembly line and seeing the doctor for 5 minutes at the other place.
