The Thornbury Bakery Caf has been a landmark on the main street in Thornbury since ~1901. Originally known for our Chelsea Buns, Cinnamon Buns, Chop Suey Buns and Butter tarts, our bakery is now known for our full breakfast and lunch menu items, custom cakes, catering, specialty gluten-free and keto breads, and so much more.
Our baker's start in the very early hours of the night producing everything from scratch, 7 days a week. Here at the Thornbury Bakery, quality means everything to us. Food, coffee, atmosphere, customer service - we strive to provide an experience for you that will exceed your expectations. In 2018 we did a complete renovation and expansion to our space to help improve the quality of overall experience for both our customers and our staff.

Thornbury Bakery Cafe is a proud part of the infamous Apple Pie Trail - a scenic and delicious trail through The Blue Mountains that showcases our local apples in a variety of food and drink. Come and visit us and try our Red Prince Apple Pie! This 15km trek starts & ends here at the Bakery. It will take you through some of the most beautiful views in the area and some of the tastiest foods, too!
