Meet Dr. Michael L. Roberts, OD

Since joining the Legacy Family (formerly Shannon EyeCare) team in 2010, Dr. Michael L. Roberts has put patient care at the forefront of his practice, while offering the latest in eye health technology. A 2003 graduate of Southern College of Optometry, he also completed a primary care residency program at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Meet Dr. Tiffany Luke, OD

Dr. Tiffany Luke is an optometrist who is originally from south Georgia where she received her bachelor's degree in business and furthered her education at the University of Kentucky, pursuing a bachelor's degree in health care science.
Dr. Luke then graduated from UAB School of Optometry where she completed internships with the Birmingham VA Hospital and private practice including several clinical rotations in low vision at Callahan Eye Hospital, the Alabama Institute of the Deaf and Blind and local nursing home facilities.

I was born in Gainesville, GA and attended Gainesville High School and Gainesville State College. I have been in the optical business for 32 years and employed by Shannon Eye Care, now Legacy Family Eye Care since 1985 in the Cumming Office as a licensed optician. I enjoy working at Shannon Eye Care, now Legacy Family Eye Care because of the family atmosphere created by the staff and patients.

Regular eye exams are an important tool in eye health for detecting and preventing eye diseases and evaluating the overall health of the patient. Some diseases, such as glaucoma, develop gradually without symptoms or vision loss, so patients may not notice that anything is wrong until significant and irreversible damage as been done.
