Gold Country Roasters (GCR) is an independent, artisan coffee roasting company and coffeehouse located in the charming and historic Calaveras County town of Murphys - the heart of California's historic "Gold Country." We have been proudly roasting and serving high quality coffees to retail and wholesale customers since 2012.

Gold Country Roasters is proud to be a part of the charming and vibrant community of Murphys, a friendly little town in the heart of California's historic "Gold Country" in the Sierra Nevada foothills, between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park. No large corporate chain stores here - 100% of the businesses in Murphys are independent, family-owned companies that support the local economy by employing local people and sourcing local products.

Gold Country Roasters' coffees are served and/or sold at the following retail, restaurant and lodging locations in and around Calaveras County, CA. Every time I've been here, we have enjoyed super friendly service, consistently good coffee, and fresh, tasty pastries. It's located very close to shops on the end of downtown Murphys. There's plenty of seating outdoors to hang out with your dog or a book from their library. Love this place! Drive an hour every weekend to come have coffee, relax, enjoy sitting outside or sitting inside in a window seat.

Our Colombian La Cabana coffee is estate grown on the organically certified Finca Agroberlin, located on Colombia's highest snow peaked mountain Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta at the northern tip of Colombia. This area is considered one of South America's richest in biodiversity and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.
