My photography journey really started when I had my own kids. I couldn't take enough pictures of them. As I got more involved in my own personal photography, I decided to pursue it professionally. I started Laura Janicek Photography out of my house in 2013. In 2016 I moved in to my first commercial studio and in 2021, I moved into the studio you see above.

My studio has everything we need to create beautiful portraits of your pregnancy, your baby and your family. It is filled with natural light to create clean, fresh looks that you'll enjoy for years to come.

The gowns used in these pictures are just some of the dresses I have available at the studio. The studio wardrobe is always available for use during your session. Newborn pictures are best taken in the first 5-14 days of life. In these early days, baby is still sleepy and curly and is more willing to cooperate for the variety of poses you see here.
Maternity

There's nothing more exciting than preparing for the birth of your child. Pregnancy is an amazing and beautiful transformation, but it's not without it's challenges (hello, morning sickness, swollen ankles and sleepless nights). The best time to photograph your pregnancy is typically between 32-36 weeks.
Newborn

That new baby smell, soft fresh skin and the sweetness of their little toes and perfect lips. There's nothing more exciting or more rewarding than becoming a parent and cherishing all of the little details of your brand-new baby. My newborn sessions provide the perfect opportunity to relax and take in these precious, fleeting moments.
