There are many historical, geological, and just plain fascinating points of interest throughout the area. The Chief Joseph burial site, Wallowa Lake Moraines, Eagle Cap Mountains, Snake River, and Hell's Canyon, are just to name a few. Travel through the Hells Canyon Byway, one of the region's premier attractions, by car, boat or foot.

Nice RV park along the Wallows River. No tents except with an RV. Excellent bathrooms with flush toilets and showers. Clean!!! Laundry room for clothes washing on longer stays. Well behaved dogs and cats can stay with you. Nice pull-through sites with 20, 30, & 50 amp breakers. TV and Internet service available. Just across the bridge from downtown Wallowa. Get a map at the office detailing activities to visit during your stay. Great landscaping, fish right outside your rig. Reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

We recently stayed at Wallowa River RV Park with our hybrid travel trailer and it was a great experience. The pull through sites were well maintained and there was even an herb garden by our site. We enjoyed being near the river. The bathrooms were the nicest we’ve seen in any RV park so far! The hosts Dave and Dana were very professional and helpful.

My husband and I and our three kids stayed here 3 nights with our travel trailer. It was one of our favorite spots so far. It’s very clean and quite, right by the river. The spots are spacious enough where it doesn’t feel crowded, and it was easy to park. The owners were so helpful and friendly. We would take day trips to the lake and after an eventful day it was nice to just come back to the camper and relax. The showers and bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

We stayed here for the 2nd time recently and enjoyed it just as much as last year. The owner is very kind. The camp hosts are helpful, kind and do a wonderful job managing the park. The restrooms are always extremely clean as is the laundry area. Beautiful little grassy area to relax in right next to the river.
