We are a caring team of professionals, under one roof, dedicated to meeting all of your individual counseling needs. Dr. Neal has been practicing in the Chicago/Crystal Lake area for over 35 years.
He loves helping his clients (children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families) attain the healing and wholeness they desire. Maria received both her Bachelor of Science in health care leadership and Master of Science in community counseling from National Louis University. Zachary specializes in working with teens, young adults, and men's issues.

NPS is a 39+ years counseling private practice dedicated to an integrative and functional mind, body & soul approach. We do not just assess for symptoms and then diagnosis and treat a "disorder." Rather, we want our clients to be seen, feel heard, and know that what they share with us matters. Our clients' stories help us to identify which areas in their mind, body, or soul are out of balance.

We have our own ADHD coach on site or available via teletherapy. At NPS, we understand that ADHD coaching is essential, not just a compliment to treatment for someone with ADHD. Time management and organization must be managed differently when someone has ADHD. It is NOT about willpower or trying harder.
Adolescents & Teens

Teenage years can be the best of times and the worst of times. There are many challenges facing teenagers, ranging from bullying to substances to classroom struggles. As these issues bear down on our teenagers, anxiety and depression can seep into their reality, making it difficult to navigate everyday life at home, at school, or with friends.
