The Mallard is a classic 45ft. O'Neil Jones Chesapeake Bay Deadrise owned and operated by Captain Troy Ruth, a 4th generation captain working the Chesapeake Bay beginning at the age of 8 with his grandfather, Captain Hiram Ruth. Captain Troy currently holds a 50 Ton Master License and is CPR and First Aid certified.
The Mallard is a 6 passenger vessel. Mallard Charters offers Full day and Half day Charters fishing for Rockfish/Chesapeake Bay Striped Bass, Perch, Bluefish, Spot, Croaker, Spanish Mackerel and Catfish by trolling, live-lining, bottom fishing and chumming. We are usually fishing within a 30 minute run from Kentmorr Marina, located on Kent Island, to the best fishing grounds in the Chesapeake Bay.
