My wife, Jennifer, and I bought our first home in 2001. We were happy newlyweds, anticipating the arrival of our first child and we wanted a home to call our own. As we anxiously looked forward to finding our little slice of the American Dream, the idea of being able to paint and decorate the nursery just how we wanted without having to ask a landlord, filled us with excitement.
While the decision to buy our first home was filled with joyful expectation, the experience of buying that home turned out to be challenging, difficult and frustrating. Having never been homeowners before, we didn't understand the terms or contracts and didn't have anyone to educate us on the process of becoming a homeowner.

Rick is simply the best! We decided to sell our home and first went with an agent that was known to our family for sometime. We got very disappointed because she was not fighting for us, she took long to communicate and when she did, she would give half baked information. She was always coming up with excuses for the house not selling for example; there are way too many homes on the market, your house lacks this/lacks that and so on.
