Randy and Ruth Ryel began with a dream to retire from AT&T and do something a bit extraordinary for their home town of Ark City, KS. In September of 2015 they took a sweet 2 story brick home built in 1904 and created a dining destination and experience which would have a comfortable, friendly appeal and serve with excellence their specialty coffees, pastries and deli style lunch.

Special Features: Steamy Joe is located one and a half blocks west of Summit Street downtown, and one block south of Cowley College. We are housed in a classic two-story brick home built in 1904, beautifully transformed in to a warm and inviting restaurant. Our delightful combination of specialty coffees, teas and other great drinks, homemade pastries, American style breakfast and a scrumptious Deli style lunch are all delicious.
