Your Home Away From Home on the Klamath River
Lazy Horse RV Park, formerly known as Blue Heron, has entered a new era under the dedicated management of Danny and Julie since June 27, 2025. Nestled along the Klamath River, our park combines modern amenities with the natural wonder of wild horses roaming freely in this unique 'Open Range' region. Our riverfront sites feature spacious 70x35 concrete pads with full hookups, designed to accommodate Class A motorhomes and various RV types while ensuring easy access for tow vehicles. We prioritize guest comfort with clean facilities, Starlink-powered internet, and flexible booking options including last-minute discounts and extended-stay rates. The park's strategic location adjacent to the world's largest river restoration project offers unparalleled opportunities for salmon fishing, kayaking, and wildlife observation.

Our management team brings decades of hospitality and property management experience, ensuring a seamless blend of rustic charm and modern convenience. We actively support local conservation efforts through partnerships with organizations like the Wild Horse Fire Brigade, offering educational resources and community engagement opportunities. Guests enjoy exclusive access to riverfront activities including complimentary tube and kayak rentals, while our upcoming community fire pit will foster shared experiences among visitors. Our commitment to preserving the region's natural heritage aligns with the State of Jefferson's tradition of protecting wild horse populations, creating a distinctive destination where humans and wildlife coexist harmoniously.
