Wrong! They only want your money, there mission is NOT to help you. Do not use givesmart for your non profit. We had to cancel our event because of Covid last March and they sweetly said they would give us a 2month extension, and last week they canceled our service and our event is in a couple weeks. All our information is on it and we can’t even get it off. We paid $2,000 and haven’t used it at all, I mean not at all! There response, was I’m sorry, you can renew for a year, so another $2000 for a struggling non profit to spend for a software they NEVER even used. I can&rsquo

On the day of our event, their onsite staff were completely unprepared to capture our donor’s information. Months of planning, thousands of dollars spent for this one moment - THE ASK. The result was we spent weeks refunding folks who had been incorrectly or double charged. What really concerns me are the donors we didn’t capture, those who raised their paddle but were never charged. The prior year we did all of the ourselves, it took a couple of extra hours manually doing this stuff but we got it 100% correct. There is nothing worse than when a non-profit shows incompetence to the
