Dr. Stephanie Phillis and Dr. Hugh Phillis are delighted to provide individualized orthodontic care to the Chelmsford community. To me, practicing orthodontics means being able to provide my patients with healthy, beautiful smiles they will confidently carry throughout life. I grew up around orthodontics: my dad and sister are both orthodontists!

My passion for orthodontics is because of the role I get to play in helping provide my patients with beautiful, healthy smiles! I am originally from Ohio and came to Nashua after completing my dental and orthodontic training at Tufts School of Dental Medicine. My wife Mary is a native New Englander who grew up in Rhode Island, so settling here in Nashua was an easy way to stay in touch with her family.

An orthodontist is a dentist who has not only completed a graduate program in dentistry to receive their DDS or DMD (Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine), but has also gone through a competitive residency at a CODA-accredited orthodontic program for an additional 2-3 years to be trained specifically in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
