Services
Ballet Classes
Our ballet program develops technical excellence through barre and center floor work. Students learn proper body alignment, terminology, and classical techniques that form the foundation for all dance styles. Ages 7 and up progress through structured levels focusing on poise, flexibility, and artistic expression.
Tap Instruction
Tap classes emphasize musicality and coordination through rhythmic footwork. Students explore sound quality, improvisation, and acapella techniques while developing timing and percussive skills. All ages and levels learn to create music through movement in a fun, energetic environment.
Hip Hop Workshops
Our hip hop program teaches street-style dance techniques to contemporary music. Students develop flexibility, isolation movements, and freestyle expression through dynamic combinations. Classes focus on foundational moves and creative choreography for ages 7 and up.
Dance Company
The MRDA Dance Company offers advanced training for serious dancers. Selected through auditions, members receive technical coaching and performance opportunities at 3-4 competitions annually. The program builds stage presence, teamwork, and competitive excellence in a professional setting.
Summer Intensives
Our summer dance camps provide concentrated training for ages 2-6. Weekly sessions include ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop instruction with age-appropriate curricula. The program runs July-August, culminating in showcase performances that highlight students' seasonal progress.

We have been with Modern Rhythms for 4 years. You can see the improvement month by month. The costumes are amazing and the choreography is beautiful. Last year my daughter went through a very difficult time and the owners and instructors went above and beyond to help her. The love and support we received was so touching. They REALLY CARE about their students.

My daughter Lauren started dancing at Modern Rhythms when she was 6. Her love for dance has been nurtured and enhanced by the amazing staff and friends she has made. I danced at Modern Rhythms since it opened, and was there for 5 years before I graduated. The studio and all of the teachers and dancers there were like my second family. I have known Carrie and Amanda since I was about five years old and they are two of the greatest people I know and I am so grateful to have them in my life. Each choreographer is so talented and works to showcase each individual dancer's strengths whether they were part of the competition teams or not. I would not have wanted to spend my last five years of competitive dance anywhere but Modern Rhythms and would do anything to
