Services
Neuropsychological Evaluations
Our comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations assess cognitive functioning across multiple domains including memory, attention, and executive functioning. We use evidence-based tools to identify neurocognitive strengths and weaknesses that impact daily life. These assessments help diagnose conditions like traumatic brain injury, stroke, and neurodegenerative disorders while guiding personalized treatment plans.
Autism Spectrum Assessments
Specialized autism spectrum disorder evaluations utilize gold-standard diagnostic tools and clinical observations. Our psychologists assess social communication skills, repetitive behaviors, and sensory sensitivities to provide accurate diagnoses. We evaluate individuals across the lifespan, offering detailed recommendations for educational accommodations, behavioral interventions, and support services tailored to each person's unique needs.
ADHD Evaluations
Our ADHD evaluations combine clinical interviews, rating scales, and cognitive testing to assess attentional difficulties. We differentiate ADHD from other conditions with similar symptoms while identifying co-occurring learning or emotional challenges. The assessment process includes comprehensive feedback sessions and practical strategies for managing symptoms in academic, professional, and home environments.
Learning Disability Testing
Diagnostic evaluations for learning disabilities examine academic skills, cognitive processing, and information retention. We identify specific learning challenges in reading, writing, or math while assessing intellectual capabilities. Our reports include evidence-based recommendations for educational accommodations, instructional strategies, and support services to help individuals succeed in school and beyond.
Geriatric Psychological Assessments
Specialized assessments for older adults evaluate cognitive changes related to aging, dementia, or neurological conditions. We assess memory, language, and executive functioning while considering medical and psychological factors. Our evaluations help differentiate normal aging from pathological changes, providing guidance for care planning and intervention strategies to maintain cognitive health.

Nov 21, 2020 Report
Dr. Rooney and staff were prompt to reply and professional as well as kind throughout the intake, testing, and review. It's hard to do something like this later in life but it can be helpful to get some answers, not to use as crutches, but to look for tools people have developed you can use to understand how to have a happier life.

Nov 10, 2019 Report
Dr. Rooney was attentive, thorough & willing to work with me. As a patient with a slew of issues which make interacting with certain doctors extremely difficult. I had not come across a moment where they did not impress me with their professionalism & care. Highly recommend Dr. Rooney & his office team.

I wish I had come here sooner! I brought my daughter for evaluation and the information and thorough report I received from Dr. Rooney found difficulties that the school was not aware of. She is now getting special help at school, her grades have improved and she is less stressed.

Nov 10, 2018 Report
Dr. Rooney was very kind with both myself and my daughter. He provided ample time for breaks and lunch during her testing period. He was patient and spoke gently to her. Dr. Rooney made my daughter feel at ease while administering a test that could have been overwhelming to her. In the end I received answers that made my daughters learning difficulties make more sense. I would highly recommend him.
