Dr. Vidal is of Cuban origin and immigrated to the United States at 3 years of age with her family, and settled in New Jersey. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Columbia University's Barnard College in 1985, and continued her graduate studies at Columbia University, School of Dental and Oral Surgery, where she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree in 1989.
