Circle Federal Credit Union was started in the early 1940's as Kawneer Credit Union. Original membership was for employees of Kawneer in Niles. In 1984, we became Greater Niles Community Federal Credit Union and at this time the charter was expanded to a community charter. In 2019, we changed our name to Circle Federal Credit Union.
Our current field of membership is anyone that lives, works, worships, goes to school or is part of an organization in the City of Niles, Niles Township or all of Cass County. Immediate family members (parents, grandparents, siblings, and spouses) are also eligible regardless of employment or residence.

A membership account that makes you eligible for all other Circle Federal Credit Union products, services and benefits. May be used as security for a loan or overdraft protection for your Circle Federal Credit Union Draft/Checking Account.

Plus, as an added benefit, we will refund ATM fees incurred during the months you qualify to receive interest on your Rewards Checking Account (up to $10 per month). Your account at Circle Federal Credit Union can have TWO different checking accounts under the same membership (each with their own debit card).
