Upon arrival, you and your guests will enter the grounds via a tree lined driveway. From there you could stroll the well-manicured lawn anywhere around the 1852-built farmhouse or the ponds.
These waters are the home to ducks, egrets, herons, turtles, king fishers, and a variety of songbirds. Visit the resident lovebirds Antony and Cleopatra (white swans) or our brood of chickens and our bevy of peacocks. Breathe in the peaceful serenity, and enjoy your very own memory in the making. With five acres of manicured lawn strewn around two ponds our property is a great place to have an outdoor ceremony.

The owners of Lakefield are Dennis and Eunice Metzler. This couple has owned and maintained the property for the past fourteen years. After their daughter and niece got married on the farm they realized the natural fit that this property is for weddings. The Metzler's like to use their experience from operating a landscaping business for over twenty years to design and maintain their beautiful farm.
