Went here for the first time in January 2022 after recently moving to Boston. Fantastic experience as a new customer. All of the staff are friendly, incredibly skilled in hairdressing and will do a great job at lining you up. The ambiance of the North End only adds to the experience so if you're looking for an A+ haircut in Boston, this is definitely the place to go! Also, I had Brennan who did an outstanding job - will definitely be requesting him again the next time I need a cut.

EXTREMELY RUDE BARBER, WHO WAS SWEARING AT ME AND CAME ACROSS AS RACIST TOO! It was my first time there for a haircut. I was ~10 minutes late because I couldn't find the place as it was hidden in an alley. When I got there, the barber assigned to me started yelling at me that I'm late (not that he had any other customer waiting), I said I'm sorry as I couldn't find the place and had a hard time looking for parking, but then he asked me to wait and went out for a 10 minutes smoke break!! I went here for a tattoo. I was able to get an appointment about a week after I submitted my inquiry, which was much sooner than expected. The person I spoke with on the phone to book my appointment and girl who checked me in at the time of my appointment were both super friendly. My appointment was with JC. I ended up really liking the tattoo he did for me, but I felt like I was a burden to him while I was there. I asked if he could adjust the font as well as the placing of the tattoo and each time I asked he looked very agitated and threw off his gloves and mumbled under his breath. When I asked

They will not let me know the status on Steve the barber who had an unfortunate accident back in February of 2021. No responses so far and it's disheartening to say the least. Hope he is well.
