At Pride & Joy, we ensure that your child will be emerged in an exceptional program and environment full of learning, laughter and lots of love. I remember a time in my life where my grandmother referred to my siblings and I as her "Pride & Joy". Every time I think of the term "Pride & Joy", a feeling of love and comfort comes to mind.
This feeling is something I wanted to pass on to other children. I had a vision in 2004 to open a NYS licensed childcare program in my home for parents in need of a warm and loving place for their children while they were at work. In 2005, that vision became a reality. My goal was to incorporate a social, educational and nurturing program that would effectively help each child grow to his/her potential.

Pride & Joy Childcare offers a loving, nurturing and educational environment for your children, a home away from home. Our learning environments offer children multiple ways to learn through exploration and hands on guided experiences. In addition, the children have many outdoor learning experiences.
Our Classrooms

Pride & Joy has two great locations offering learning, laughter, and lots of love to all!. Our center on North Carll Avenue in Babylon is made up of three classrooms. One infant classroom, one toddler classroom, and one preschool classroom. This center has been in operation since 2012 and is licensed through New York State Offices of Child and Family Services for 27 children.

Our goal is to staff our center with nurturing, enthusiastic, creative and experienced individuals that together will form a dynamic team. Ensure and maintain an organized and sanitary environment according to the New York State OCFS Standards.
Daily Routine

Children thrive when they are following a predictable routine each day. At Pride & Joy, we understand the importance of this routine. Each of our classrooms follow a daily routine that is carefully designed to include educational circle times, fine motor activities, gross motor activities, sensory experiences, music and movement, story time, free play and outdoor play.
Family engagement
Report
Family engagement is very important to us at Pride & Joy. We recognize the importance of ongoing communication with each child's family. In addition to daily communication, both verbally and written, we have multiple family engagement events throughout each year. These events are listed in our monthly calendar and newsletter.
