The Co-op annual school calendar generally runs from the week following Labor Day through the second week in June. We follow the Sudbury Public School Calendar for holiday observations, with the exception of a longer break over the December holidays. We generally try to follow the Sudbury Public School Calendar for weather-related closings, but ultimately the call to close for weather is at the discretion of the Director.

We loved the co-op community, the small classes, the play-based learning, and most of all, the engaged and nurturing staff. Focused on gentle transitions and encouraging parent involvement, at the Co-op it was wonderful to have flexible preschool options, optional afternoon enrichment activities, and both school-wide field trips and community-wide events. We wish we had more children, just so we could send them to the Sudbury Cooperative Preschool!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Sudbury Cooperative Preschool! Warm, nurturing, supportive, enriching, flexible....and truly a family! The faculty, staff and family-centered culture help to foster a truly amazing learning environment for the students. In addition to core classroom hours, the extended day programs are fantastic. We initially chose the co-op as it was one of very few schools in the area I found that started at age 2.0, but we stayed because we loved it!! My daughter attended for three years and is now in kindergarten. Though she was very well-prepared for kindergarten

The co-op is a great community of parents as well as kind, encouraging, nurturing teachers. We have been with the school for two years now and our son absolutely loves it. I love the flexible options for lunch buddies and stay and play. They really come in handy on a drop in basis!

Our two sons were originally in full time daycare in Sudbury. When we made the decision to shift to a preschool, we looked at several programs in the area. We ultimately decided on the coop as we felt like it was a truly play based experience. Everyone we met gave us such a warm welcome and our experience has been nothing short of awesome. Every teacher I've encountered has been caring, attentive, and encouraging; it's refreshing to have your children around adults that really care. The directors, Britta and Michelle, are the best! They have been so helpful and easy to communicate with. As I've

Our experience at Sudbury Cooperative Preschool has been nothing short of outstanding. The educators and administrators have a genuine love of teaching, and that comes through in their interactions with the children. Our director has made some amazing additions to the curriculum, adding in mindfulness practices (yoga, breathing exercises), physical movement classes, and a music/art show.
I am so thankful to have found a preschool that encourages parent involvement in the classroom. We've been given an invaluable opportunity to see our daughter grow in her very first learning environment. This

I have been a part of the Co-op for 6 years now, having sent my daughter and son through the school. We have been in each class and had each teacher and can not say enough good things about the experience that both of my children have had. The teachers and Directors are some of the most wonderful people I have met. They care about each child as if they were their own and encourage each child to learn through play at their own developmental pace. My children can't wait to go to school each day and come home with amazing learning experiences.
Each day is a new adventure at the Co-op. The extracurricular

We love the Sudbury Co-op! Our oldest son has spent the last 4 years in this school and we plan to send our youngest there next year. The Co-op has a family centered philosophy where we become part of the school. The school feels like a community and we have developed wonderful friendships. The play based learning model makes learning fun, but we are completely impressed with the STEM curriculum and how that is incorporated into the classroom. Over the past year there have been some positive changes to the Co-op that make being part of the school more flexible. The extended day program has also

Both of our boys have attended the co-op and we have had a fantastic experience there. It’s a small school that makes a big effort to bring families together as a community. My kids have loved being with their friends at the parties, concerts and art shows that we gather for. And I have appreciated the inclusive atmosphere where it’s easy to get to know other parents through volunteering, weekend activities with the kiddos and the occasional parent-only night.
The teachers are simply amazing people with warm, engaging and (let’s face it!) patient personalities. Our boys loved them and I

The Co-op is truly a special place. They are so intentional about making learning special and engaging for each child, it's amazing. I love that they focus so much on letting children play while providing structure for experiential learning. It may seem like the children in the preschool classroom aren't doing much, but by the time they are in PreK they are ready to learn and to love learning! And the way they incorporate science into every age group by encouraging the children's natural curiosity about the world - I just can't say enough good things about it.
I love being invited into the classroom
