We ask that all new clients have a consultation before the first visit. This is in order for us to have a thorough understanding of your pet's needs before you leave home. It also gives you a chance to meet your pet sitter in person and to ask any necessary questions. The consultation usually lasts 30 minutes to 1 hour.

We are Rich and Laura Andrews. Our family has included pets for 27 years and we are loving and experienced pet parents. To us, a house isn't quite a home unless pets are there! For your peace of mind, our business is fully bonded and insured and we are certified in First Aid and CPR through Pet Health Academy.

We are located on the northwest side of Fort Wayne in Huntertown. We will travel up to 20 miles, but visits for distances of more than 8 miles from us have limited availability and a surcharge of $5.00 per visit. TLC Pet Care is truly a God-Send! In this day & age handing over total access to your home while you are out of town is a scary thing.

In addition to our dog and cat care services, TLC is pleased to offer loving care for smaller creatures and exotic pets such as rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas, rats, mice, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, turtles, lizards, snakes, and birds of all kinds. We understand that caring for exotic pets can be quite involved and require very detailed instructions.

Q: Is there a limit to the number of pets you will care for? A: No, there is not. We don't charge extra if you have several pets, instead we charge for the time it takes to care for them. Q: Will you come every other day? A: For the health and safety of your pets, dogs must be visited at least twice per day and cats at least once per day.
