Dr. Brandon graduated from Shelby High School in 2005. He finished his undergraduate at Appalachian State University in 2009 where he was on the Dean's list and was the president of the ASU Dental Club. He graduated from the UNC School of Dentistry in May of 2013 and started working with his father, Paul Hounshell who had been practicing densitry since 1982.
Giving Back

By the grace of God, our office was able to provide all the equipment needed to setup this much needed office. They currently help 350-400 people each month. The Hounshell Family Dentistry staff volunteered to provide free dental care for Slovic refugees in Asheville, NC. In 2012 Dr. Paul, Dr. Brandon, and Hana volunteered at a Mission's of Mercy clinic in Gastonia, NC.

We are in network with Delta Dental PPO, MetLife, and Ameritas. We accept most traditional insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement. CareCredit is here to help you pay for treatments and procedures your insurance doesn't cover.

Here at Hounshell Family Dentistry, we are proud to offer comprehensive care for our patients. Our goal in offering comprehensive care is to be able to offer any service that our patients need. We don't want to have to refer them to another dentist for any extra care. To do this, we are proud to offer routine and preventative care for our patients.
