As a furniture salesperson, Jake found his customers frustrated with their inability to purchase 'new' when they didn't have a way to get rid of the 'old'. From that frustration, along with Jake's frustration about losing sales, Get It Gone was born. Get It Gone was founded in 2004 with an idea, a pickup truck, a borrowed trailer, and 50 bucks to register our name with the state.
As the business grew, Jake left the sales world for the junk world! Forming strategic partnerships over the years has taken us from New England to SW Florida. Jake's dream is to make Get It Gone a household name in the areas that we service. With our phenomenal team, we are getting there, one satisfied customer at a time!
