VIA used to be my go to bank. I even got my husband to switch to it. Now, I'm ready to close my account and be done with VIA Credit Union. I've had to call at least 5 times in the last month all for random and rediculous problems caused by them. Now my card is expired and they haven't sent me a new one. I even called and confirmed, three weeks prior, that it would be sent to me before my card expired. The only thing I can thank via for is making my decision to leave them final.

I have had via credit union since I was 12 years old. I have had numerous loans at via over the years. Never have I been delinquent on a loan. I applied for a personal loan today-- but because I have two late payments on the home I am selling (with a different lender -- because it is in process of sale), I was denied a loan that is less than the mortgage that is going away and has a payment no greater than the mortgage payment I will no longer be paying. A couple of months ago they were fighting for my business in a car loan greater than what they just denied me for. Add this to a dozen other

The credit union is good. The low score is for the way it's hard to use online. They screw with the online banking site. It's a new mess each time.
