In 1977, Dr. Barry Jose opened Family Eyecare Center of Council Bluffs. Since then, Council Bluffs residents have had a family friendly optometry clinic to serve all their eyecare needs. The current office location at the corner of 16th and Avenue D has been home to Family Eyecare Center since 1992.

Bellevue Family Eyecare Center is a full service optometric clinic and dispensary, easily accessible to both Bellevue and Papillion residents. Bellevue Family Eyecare accepts nearly all major medical and vision insurance plans, including Tricare, the insurance provider for United States Military.
