The word yoga comes from Sanskrit, an ancient Indian language and is a 5000 year old Indian body of knowledge. It is a derivation of the word yuj, which means yoking, as in a team of oxen. In contemporary practice, this is often interpreted as meaning union, to unite, to integrate.

Our goal at Destin Hot Yoga is to create a sanctuary where you can safely practice yoga in an environment that fosters the sense of community and connection. Arrive early to class to ensure your spot and give you time to settle in. This also enables our front desk staff to get everyone registered and allows class to start on time.
