Stevie Hagen grew up on Mercer Island and began dancing at the age of 2 with Camille Chrysler. She pursued a dance career intensively at Pacific Northwest Ballet School and continued her training at Cornish College of the Arts, where she graduated with a BFA in dance. Stevie privately coaches students in ballet, pointe, and floor barre technique and is also a certified Pilates and Barre instructor.
She currently works with Pilates clients and dance students of all ages around the Mercer Island and Bellevue area. Sharing her love for dance and fitness brings Stevie immense joy, and assuring that every student leaves feeling accomplished, challenged, and encouraged, is her top priority. Stevie began teaching adult ballet and pointe classes as a substitute for Deena Dunning in 2016.

Accompanied by a parent or guardian, this class is the perfect way to connect with your toddler and watch as they discover the joy of dance and music! Your child will explore and discover the magic of ballet through story telling and props during this class! This ballet/tap combo class is perfect for children that love to dance and move their feet.
Studio Policies

At CDS we expect both parents and students to treat our staff, other families, and our facility with the ultimate respect. CDS values teamwork, community, encouragement, and creating a safe place for every child, both physically and emotionally. Gossiping and bullying are strictly forbidden both in class and online.
Adult/Teen Classes

Creation Dance Studio has a welcoming and encouraging community of adults that all have one incredible thing in common- we absolutely love to dance! All classes will be limited to 13 dancers at this time and pre-registration, masks, and vaccination are required at this time. Dancers must be at least 15 years of age to take an adult class, however, special exceptions can be made under very specific circumstances.

Ballet teaches precision, grace, expression, and alignment while also increasing strength, flexibility, and body awareness. These valuable qualities learned throughout class create a strong foundation for all other styles of dance! At CDS we offer Beginning (coming this fall), Beginning/Intermediate, and Intermediate ballet classes.
Adult FAQs

From your new portal you will be able to buy dance cards, sign up for drop-in classes, and view your upcoming class schedule! All classes require pre-registration at this time. If you have class cards for ballet or pointe class from last year you can use them from 7/17-8/21. All pre-existing punch cards must be brought with you to class and shown before class.
