Our founders, Dr. Dana Shanis and Catherine McGinty, met working in women's health and noticed a deficit in the diagnosis and treatment of common pelvic and sexual concerns. They saw how the lack of accurate diagnosis and comprehensive treatment for these issues could deeply affect a woman's well being, and decided to devote their time to addressing these intimate concerns.

Catherine DeBow McGinty is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with speciality training in female sexual and pelvic floor medicine. She received her nursing degree at Villanova University and her Master of Science in Nursing at George Mason University.
She started her nursing career as a Navy Nurse, providing orthopedic, surgical and emergency care in San Diego and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; and did one deployment in Kuwait supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.After graduate school, she worked at CVS MinuteClinic and then Rittenhouse Women's Wellness Center.

Aesthetics patients can also be seen at the Crown Jewel Esthetics at 255 S. 17th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103. In order to give you the adequate time and attention you need, we do not accept insurance.
