In the summer of 2007 I adopted a Bichon Frise puppy. When we locked eyes and I received my very first head tilt, I knew she was the one for me! I was so happy and excited to adopt her and give her a loving home! Before picking her up, I bought a few things to get started like, food, bowls, blankets, toys, treats, and a crate for training.
How hard could this be? Oh boy, was I in for a big surprise! Her potty training didn't really exist outside due to her love of indoor carpet. She loved chewing on shoes, socks, underwear, clothes, corners of anything, windowsills, pillow cases, and toilet paper. As challenging as her training was going, I also noticed her scratching and chewing on her paws.
