Cadenza Center for Psychotherapy and the Arts is a South Florida based agency serving children, adolescents, and adults with developmental, emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioral needs using active, creative, and enriching treatment interventions.

We are the premier center for Psychotherapy and the Arts in Southeastern Florida, known for high quality, advanced clinical practice, results-oriented interventions, and sound ethical treatment since 2000.Founded in 2000 by Michelle Hintz, PsyD, MT-BC, Cadenza Center for Psychotherapy and the Arts offers home, office, and school/center music therapy sessions, consultations, evaluations, and workshops.

To begin treatment, a licensed clinician conducts an in-depth clinical interview to review history of the presenting problem, current symptoms and functioning, identify treatment priorities, and determine a plan of treatment. When the client is a child under the age of 15, we ask to meet with parents or caregivers only during the first session.

Our After-School Programs are designed to provide specific interventions, therapies and remediation required to address your child's individual needs. Social: Improve social communication and develop appropriate social skills (social skills group, music and art group therapy). Therapeutic: Individual or small group therapy sessions (May include a combination of ABA therapy, psychotherapy or play therapy, music and art therapy).

Our clinicians believe that love and acceptance come in a wide variety of forms. Couples can be married or dating, gay or straight. We recognize that most couples seeking therapy are usually facing some issue they have been unable to resolve alone. The decision to enter couples counseling can often be a difficult one, so we will be as sensitive and supportive as possible.

Psychological and psychoeducational evaluations are requested for a number of reasons. We can administer an evaluation to meet your needs. Our comprehensive evaluations provide diagnostic clarification and information about an individual's behavioral, emotional, academic, and cognitive functioning.
