I've been to a number of optometrists over the years with, more often than not, positive experiences. Mike, the optician, at DeMers is by far the most professional and conscientious optician I've experienced. His fitting go so far beyond, "those look good on you", I'd follow him if he were to ever leave. His experience and expertise level is so far ahead of the competition it's as though he's the only optician with a bag of tricks.

You guys should really update your receptionist to let clients know that your closed for 2 hours during the middle of the day. When they specifically ask if they can come anytime to pick up glasses. Because apparently everyone has to be taking lunch time together at the same time. Could definitely utilize your time better

Have been here 3 times now and I have to say the service is just excellent. The staff is polite, courteous, and knows what they are doing. The office is clean and well maintained. I have seen 2 different eye doctors, both have been excellent. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. I definitely recommend this place. I live in Southern California and spend quite a bit of time in Reno and I come here for eye care.

I have been to so many different eye doctors in the area over the years, and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. They had a cancellation the day I called to set an appt, so I was able to get in within an hour. The insurance wasn't pulling up so they immediately called and got it handled. Everyone was extremely sweet. I will definitely be back!

I took my three year old son here for his first vision screening and was very pleased by the service we recieved. We had the pleasure of meeting both Dr. Leslie DeMers and Dr. Scott DeMers (they're married which is so sweet) and they were both exceptionally gentle in their treatment of my child. He was understandably scared and they went above and beyond to put him at ease. It was clear they have a lot of experience working with kids, so I would definitely recommend this practice to families. The staff was friendly and the space felt ample, clean and welcoming. This is the best optometrist in town. Ive been to so many and I was told by every one that it was normal for contacts to irritate your eyes with only two hours of wear. When I brought it up at DeMers they were willing to work with me to find the contact that was most comfortable for me. My husband also had issues at every dr reading the sight board. None of those drs looked into it or understood when he said that he didnt see the letters like regular letters. A dr at DeMers actually ended up looking into it and discovered that he has an eye disease which greatly impacts his vision. The staff
