I already left a review about Dr Hlis saving my eyesight. I will always be more than grateful, of course I'm going to take my children to him and he was great with them. My girls are 7 and 10 and we're anxious about going but he was very patient and kind with them . I highly recommend him to anyone adults or children.

Speaks more highly of himself than other local optometrists. Shames parents for not bringing in their young children yet. Misprescribed my contact lense for my left eye, but I couldn't afford to make another appointment to fix it. Ended up wasting time and money. In previous visit, prescription was fine and they also helped me with putting in my lenses. Still, when I returned a year later the prescription I was given left my left eye blurry. Will be going somewhere else next time.

Dr Hlis saved my eyesight, In the later part of February my vision was all of the sudden going darker.. Dr Hlis saw me on a Sunday called the surgeon and took care of it. I still have my vision. I appreciate all he did and will always be grateful he is a caring doctor and truly a kind person.

Biggest rip off eye dr in Brownwood, i have warm glasses for years but normally see a specialist, he was a nice guy but couldnt get my script right, too much power, no refund for his service even though I could not use the script, I couldnt see out the lenses he made twice for me, even though I told him what I wanted, he presented me with a cheaper product, thick and heavy.. so beware, he doesnt always get it right at your expense and then trys to talk you into what he Wants to sell you... friends warned me but I gave him try anyway. Would not recommend him to anyone..
