Checkrides are stressful, but I take a professional approach to each applicant and do my best to create a relaxed environment. I WANT you to succeed in your aviation pursuits, and nothing makes me happier to see the satisfaction on the face of a pilot after a successful checkride. Below is a detailed list of DPE services.
Students

Congratulations on your SOLO! Now the real work begins. So far in the program you have learned, mostly, 'stick and rudder' skills. Flying is so much more than that! When you finally earn your pilots certificate you are going to want to do much more than fly laps around the local airport. Primarily you will want to go somewhere, maybe just 30 or 40 miles away, maybe hundreds of miles away!
Discovery

Are you interested in flying but never been up in a light aircraft? A discovery flight is a great way to get your feet wet in aviation, makes for a memorable weekend, and/or a great gift for that aspiring aviator you know. I also recommend taking a introductory flight such as this if you are interested in starting any pilot training.
Learn to Fly

The first thing I would suggest would be to take a discovery flight in the aircraft you will be taking your lessons in. This will give you the chance to see if flying a light aircraft is enjoyable or not. It will also give us a chance to meet and discuss the details of your training and for me to answer any questions you may have.
CFI Training

We offer a limited number of CFI training classes every year. Our three-week course is geared towards pilots who have completed the FOI and FIA written exams and have at least 500 hours of total time. In addition, CFI applicants will complete an in-person interview and screening flight.
If accepted into our program, pilots will begin week one of the course, consisting of 40 hours of classroom instruction given by one of our very experienced instructors.Week two includes up to 12 hours of flight instruction including spin and upset recovery training in a Super Decathlon.
