Eric Hinojos honorably served in the United States Navy for 11 years. He joined the Navy in 2005, received his commission through NROTC at UCLA in 2005. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. In 2005, he began his career as a Naval Aviator. He received his Wings of Gold in 2007. From 2007-2011, he flew over 1000 hours in the mighty SH-60B Seahawk, deploying multiple times to the Gulf of Aden in support of Counter Piracy Operations.
