States vary in their laws and regulations regarding who can perform Acupuncture. In Illinois our laws are not as clearly defined as they should be. You may be surprised to find out that anyone who, within their scope of practice is allowed to put a needle in a body, may be able to "do Acupuncture" on you.

On your first visit, we assess your individual state of health-including body, mind, and spirit--through a comprehensive intake and physical exam. Chinese physical exam incorporates tongue and pulse diagnosis as well as palpation of acupuncture points. We combine a traditional Chinese exam with a complete health history, to develop a holistic impression that will guide your treatment.
Service Fees

Acupuncture may be covered by your insurance. If you would like to use your insurance coverage, please inquire prior to your first visit. Point of Health Acupuncture will provide you with documentation to assist you in obtaining reimbursement from your insurance company for your acupuncture treatment, however payment is required at the time of service.
