Of our 3 orders, my husband's fajita nachos was probably the best, but I'm using that term loosely. To be fair it was a large portion of chips - but they were thin and cold. The toppings were skimpy, especially the tiny portion of meat. Not worth the $11.99 price. I ordered a New Mexico Smoky Jack with onion rings. The onion rings were delicious. The sandwich consisted of a thin slice of compressed ham (like from the cheap blocks at Walmart), 1 piece of bacon torn in half, cheese, green chiles, a large blob of mayonnaise and a very nice bun. Not something I would expect shelling out $8.99 for,

I found this little gem on Yelp and decided to give it a try while driving through Big Springs. We all ordered something different and all of us enjoyed our food. I ordered the California chicken and it was delicious. I was served 2 large pieces with guacamole and melted cheese and bacon. On my salad there were real bacon pieces. Very pleased and will stop in again on my next visit.

Had lunch here. I ordered the small chicken fried steak, my wife had the chicken quesadillas. Everything was delicious expect for one thing...I was disappointed because the onion rings I ordered with my meal were the pre-battered frozen kind that you can get at any supermarket. That is only reason I gave four stars instead of five. The chicken fry was really good and I had never seen such a huge serving of quesadillas in my life at any restaurant. We would definitely eat here again, just would order the onion rings as a side.

If you like hot and spicy you need to try the 911 burger at Crispy's. It is absolutely awesome!!!! It has some serious heat, and its just what a chili-head is looking for. Any number of places claim to have a "hot burger", but Crispy's really does. It is well worth the trip to Big Spring to try it out. Great service too.

We chose Crispy's based on several glowing reviews and a full parking lot. We were sorely disappointed. The fajita nachos were thin, cold, and only had 5 or 6 pieces of meat on them. Lots of runny nacho cheese and lettuce didn't help. My sandwich had a very nice bun, but consisted of a thin slice of pressed ham (it looked like it was sliced off those cheap bricks from the grocery store), 1 piece of bacon torn in half (maybe to fool me into thinking there was more), a few pieces of grilled chiles, cheese, and a hefty dollop of mayo. Just had the fried catfish and it was wonderful! Busy busy place at noon. Hard working, efficient wait staff. Very friendly gentleman that seated us. He stopped back by to see how we were liking the food. Felt like friends! We were working in Big Spring and stopped before heading back to Midland. We will be back to try out other things on the menu.

Traveling through Big Spring and decided to stop here based on Yelp reviews. This place got really busy at lunch - lots of oil field working men, as well as locals. (That's always a good sign!)

This is good all American home style diner food. This feel good food. Good portions, and good flavor. The Hamburger steak was cooked a little well but I don't mind a little crispy. If you like some red let them know. I got mash potatoes and corn as the 2 sides. You can also get green beans, fries, coleslaw and okra. In Texas if you don't ask for unsweetened tea you will get sweet sweet tea.
I am glad I stopped in hopefully I make it back to Big springs and try their breakfast.

I absolutely love this place! The portions here are very big. I mean I can't even finish a while burger! Customer service is excellent every time we go. Never disappoints. A lot of the locals come here as the place is always full. I got the Bulldog burger and it was greatness. One of the best burgers I've had in town. Chips and salsa is my daughter's favorite. Place is kept really clean. I will definitely refer this place to everyone and this will be our spot.

Chicken fried steak was real hand battered and one of the best I've had in a while. Thicker than what one typically gets. Would have got different sides other than mash potatoes and corn (which seemed like from a can). Peach cobbler ala mode was a perfect ending.
Servers very personable and didn't make me feel like an out-of-towner.

Recently ate here, never been before and decided to give it a try as Big Spring has very few options.
The moment we walked in the smell of sewage hit, it wasn't bad but could smell a small hint of it all through dinner, I didn't want to say anything as to cause an issue with in my group. After we left, the first thing my wife asked was " did it stink in there to you?". Please fix the plumbing.
All the orders were correct except they messed up one of the burgers, and ended up remaking. I had the Turkey Sandwich and it tasted great, but that's not heard to screw up. The

Excellent food, excellent service and excellent people. I have eaten here many times, particularly with my older teen boys, and come away satisfied. Plenty of food on the plate with zero filler. Thoroughly enjoy this place for weekend breakfast. They have a stuffed breakfast burrito smothered in pork chile verde and cheese that far exceeds expectations. You had better get there before 10 on Saturday because when breakfast is gone, it's gone and it is time to move to the lunch menu. The burgers are good, too.
