Three generations of the Delaney family have proudly served families in the Town of Walpole since our opening in 1958, and we are still family owned and operated today. Over the years, our commitment has been to provide you, your friends and neighbors with sound advice and personal service at times that can be emotionally difficult.
Many families first meet us when they attend a loved one's funeral. Later, they call us when they are in a time of personal need. While losing someone that we love and care for is always difficult, we strive to celebrate the life lived to bring families some comfort and peace during difficult times.

About Us
Report
The James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home was established in December of 1958 at the corner of Common and School Street, one block from Walpole Center. The property at 48 Common Street originally served as a private residence, after John Henry Harshorn, a builder by trade, moved the existing house from the corner in 1898 and placed it on a foundation to the left of Memorial Pond on School Street, to build a home for his wife and himself.

Pre-Arrangements
Report
Memories are the treasures that our families and friends are left with when we pass away. How will your memories be shared? Will you be the final author? When we pre-plan our funeral services, we are able to choose exactly how we want to be remembered. We can be at peace in knowing that the final details are taken care of and our family and friends can begin healing instead of worrying about making arrangements.
