Physicians' Primary Care of Southwest Florida, a physician owned and operated medical practice, was formed in 1996 by many long practicing local physicians and has grown to be the largest independent multi-specialty practice in Southwest Florida with offices in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and Lehigh Acres.
Our medical services are provided by our providers working in three medical specialties including family practice, internal medicine and pediatrics. Telehealth
Report
In addition to traditional in-person appointments, we now offer telehealth appointments as an alternative to coming in to the office. All you need is a smartphone, tablet or laptop with a microphone and camera in order to have a visit from the comfort of your home. Unfortunately, not all visits are appropriate for a telehealth visit.
Computed Tomography CT Scan
Report
During the test, you will lie on a table that is attached to the CT scanner, which is a large doughnut-shaped machine. The CT scanner sends X-rays through the body area being studied. Each rotation of the scanner takes less than a second and provides a picture of a thin slice of the organ or area. All of the pictures are saved as a group on a computer.
Lab
Report
At our Main Lab in Cape Coral, patient appointments are available from 6:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If instructed to fast before your appointment, please do not eat or drink anything, except water, after midnight. Once completed, tests are communicated directly to our physicians via our electronic medical record system.
Medicare Annual Wellness Visits
Report
We work with you to create a personal prevention plan that helps you stay healthy and avoid getting sick. The visit is covered by Medicare at 100%. In most cases your visits with your doctor are addressing a specific ailment or chronic condition. However, during the Annual Wellness Visit our wellness providers can focus on overall health and provides a plan for the next 5 to 10 years.
Physical Therapy
Report
Physical therapists work with many types of patients, ranging from: infants, adults to the elderly. Our team of licensed medical professionals is here to help our patients restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit physical disability. Wide variety of treatments are available for various injuries, conditions, pain, disease processes, and post-operative recovery.
