Electrolysis is the process of permanently removing unwanted hair by treating hair follicles one-by-one. Electrolysis is done by gently inserting a tiny probe into the natural opening of the hair follicle. Then, a small amount of chemical and/or electrical current are applied in order to annihilate the hair growth cells.

If I cannot see the hair, I cannot treat the hair. It's best to stop shaving for at least 2 days before your appointment. And for other methods like waxing, tweezing, and etc., these should be stopped 2-3 weeks prior to your first treatment and they must be discontinued once your series of electrolysis appointments begin.
