Premier Dance Education in Goldsboro, NC
Founded in 2015, Studio 33 Dance Company was born from a vision to cultivate artistic growth and community through dance. Starting in a home studio, we expanded to a permanent location in Goldsboro, NC, offering classes for ages 2 and up in ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, tap, and pointe. Our mission is to nurture dancers of all skill levels while fostering a supportive, Christ-centered environment. We emphasize technical excellence, creativity, and character development, preparing students for competitive teams, performances, and outreach initiatives. Our experienced instructors, many of whom trained at prestigious institutions like Broadway Dance Center and UNC School of the Arts, bring decades of expertise to every class. We prioritize individualized attention, ensuring students build strength, flexibility, and confidence. Beyond technical training, we instill discipline, teamwork, and a commitment to service through programs like Hope Travelers, our outreach dance ministry. With structured class requirements and performance opportunities, we help dancers achieve personal and artistic milestones. Our facility accommodates both recreational and advanced students, maintaining rigorous safety standards and dress codes. Through summer intensives, guest choreographers, and community partnerships, we provide a dynamic dance education that extends beyond the studio walls.

Ballet Classes
Our ballet program develops foundational technique for ages 2+. Students learn proper alignment, barre exercises, and center work while building strength and grace. Classes follow progressive levels with performance opportunities in annual recitals. Ballet training is mandatory for pointe students to ensure proper technique and injury prevention.
Hip Hop Instruction
Contemporary hip hop classes teach street dance styles to ages 5+. Curriculum includes breaking, popping, and freestyle techniques. Students develop rhythm, coordination, and self-expression through choreography. Advanced students may join competition teams that have placed at regional events like Southeast Showdown Dance Competition.
Pointe Training
Pointe program requires prior ballet experience and instructor approval. Students progress through Pointe I-II levels learning proper shoe fitting, ankle strengthening, and advanced ballet technique. Ballet classes are mandatory for all pointe students to maintain technical foundation and prevent injuries.
Summer Intensives
Annual summer programs feature guest instructors from Broadway Dance Center and professional companies. Dancers train in multiple genres, develop choreography, and participate in showcase performances. Past intensives included workshops with Ailey II members and Parsons Dance Company artists.
Hope Travelers

When my daughter did her trial class when she was about to turn 3 y/o 2.5 years ago, I knew from there that this is a perfect ballet school for her. I just love the atmosphere and everyone is very sweet and really do love and care of every kid that sets foot in the studio. Mrs. Crystal is such a person full of life and love! My daughter loves her and she loves her Ballet class.

Best studio in the area. Everyone here treats you like family and the instructors go above and beyond to ensure that each child reaches their full potential. My girls love going to dance each day to see their dance friends and teachers. It is an amazing place for our girls to learn and grow in their art.
