Your health and safety and that of our staff are our primary concerns. We want to assure you that we are open and available to see you for your dermatologic needs. If you or someone in your family has exhibited flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, severe muscle aches, shaking chills, or recent loss of taste or smell, DO NOT come to the office.

Please call 207-795-7540 to reschedule or request a telemedicine visit. Anyone entering the building must be wearing a mask or facial covering. Only patients with appointments will be allowed into the office. Exceptions include children or patients with disabilities or other extraordinary circumstances.
Services
Mohs Surgery
Report
Bates Mill Dermatology offers Mohs micrographic surgery for treatment of skin cancers. Mohs surgery is a method of removing skin cancer (most often basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma) with narrow margins, then checking under the microscope to make sure all the cancer cells are removed. If more cancer cells are seen at the edge of what has been removed then another small layer of skin is taken and checked again.
Directions

We are located in downtown Lewiston at 70 Lincoln Street, between Main and Chestnut Streets. You will find us next to Fishbones Restaurant, in the rear of the building. Please note that we have one entrance in the same building. One entrance is for Dr. Bouman (under sign for Bates Mill Dermatology), and the other entrance is for Dr. Burns and Alison Ravis, PA-C (under sign for Mill No. 6).
