Let's start by saying that Goodale General Builders is a class act in all respects and will be our "go to" construction and repair company until owner Dobro Goodale decides to retire. Even though YELP only offers a maximum of 5 stars, we could easily reward Dobro and his team with 6. This time the project was to repair a support column and the parapet of the faade of our circa 1906 mission revival home.

The unfortunate ravishing of this Edwardian period triplex by fire left the owner with the choice to rebuild or relocate. Her love for the home and the community it housed made the choice easy. What wasn't easy was recreating the historical feeling on an insurance claim budget for 3 units within a 12 month timeline.

This 1925 bungalow in Alameda needed more space for a blended family. The entire house was stripped and the roof cut off to prepare for a second story which included a master suite, deck and third bathroom. The custom cabinets and milled window/door casing kept the feeling of the original architectural features.

They will be overseeing all of Goodale Builders stucco and plastering jobs. We have worked with them for over 15 years, and our clients have always been happy with their great work.

This 1956 custom designed home by Hans Christiansen was a perfect candidate for renovating. The home's clean lines and open layout provided a nice canvas for a mid-century modern update.
