Let Driving Academy, Cruising with Cops take your teen's driver's education experience to the next level. Our behind-the-wheel educators are all active or former Law Enforcement Officers. With a combined half a million miles driven, our instructors have extensive experience in all types of weather, emergency and other situations that can occur while driving.
With that we are committed to the education of student drivers in traffic laws which govern traffic and regulate vehicles; rules of the road; and most importantly traffic safety. Cruising with Cops also provides real life examples of how disobeying traffic laws and a disregard for safety have resulted in traffic tickets, motor vehicle accidents and injuries.

Who better to teach your child than trained professional drivers versed in all kinds of weather conditions and other situations over their careers? Our staff is knowledgable in traffic and other laws and answer the questions your child may have from an officer's perspective. We have a professional look, professional environment, and students have an opportunity to have a positive interaction with local police officers.
Instructors

Associates degree from WIT in Police Science, 5 yrs with the Denison, Iowa Police Department. Currently with the Sioux City Police Department working uniform patrol. Other special assignments have been teaching DARE, serving as the SRO at both East and North Middle Schools, CAST unit and Ropes course instructor.
