Our 21-acre property offers diverse wedding venues including a rustic-chic barn with 21 chandeliers, a Tuscan-lit patio, and scenic outdoor locations like a 250-year-old oak tree or tranquil pond. The barn accommodates 50-500 guests with climate-controlled comfort. Outdoor spaces feature natural backdrops for ceremonies, while the lodge provides a stone fireplace setting for winter weddings.
Corporate Retreats
The Lodge features a 5,000-square-foot conference center with a great room for 120 theater-style meetings, a 14-seat boardroom, and two breakout rooms. Outdoor team-building activities include gem hunting and cider-making. Our hospitality team specializes in corporate dinners for 10-500 guests, with local food catering and coffee breaks showcasing regional specialties.
Event Planning
We offer flexible planning options where couples or event organizers can self-coordinate or utilize our preferred wedding consultants. Our wedding on November 13th was perfect. Doug and Freda went above and beyond to make our day everything we wanted and more. The food, flowers, decorations, setting, and decorations were perfect. If I could do ot again, I absolutely would!

We attended a wedding here in August of 2021. The venue and location are both beautiful. As a guest, I cant speak about the service. Minus two stars because there seemed to be a septic tank issue and the whole reception area kept getting wafts of sewage.

So beautiful up here. Makes your wedding day something everyone will remember. There is a local transportation company called Weaverville Cab so getting to and from the venue is rather easy.

Our son's wedding and reception was at Blackberry Cove on 4/29/21. Most of the family traveled from Michigan - what a feast for the eyes was the mountain backdrop! We loved the host who was laid-back, helpful, well-experienced in what it takes to organize and execute an event, and coordinated well with other vendors. The staff was friendly, the lodge perfect for the wedding parties, beautiful spots for that first look, food first-rate. Only negatives were no restrooms in barn and the in-house florist. Overall, a gorgeous venue that you can make as rustic or elegant as you wish!

My husband and I got married here in October 2020. We had such a wonderful wedding, and I highly recommend this venue. Doug was incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. He really took a lot of the stress of planning away. The venue and its amenities are priced extremely reasonably, and the location is beautiful. We also got our food and flowers from Doug and Freda, respectively. The food was fantastic and Doug even did a MASSIVE tasting for us and our parents at no additional cost. The flowers were beautiful and just so lovely. Freda really worked with me to get what I wanted, but also suggested

We loved using this venue for our wedding in August 2018! Doug & Ken are so helpful and amazing. I didn't have to worry about a thing, they took care of everything. The property and barn is gorgeous! Also, everything was very affordable. This place is a true gem!

I absolutely love photographing weddings at Fields of Blackberry Cove! Each of the ceremony locations is beautiful and photogenic, and the variety of portrait locations is almost endless. The whole staff is incredibly friendly and helpful as well.
