The photos are not a good representation of what you get at Kings Inn. From the front lobby to the room, it's like a different place. Our room was overlooking the pool and was not one of the renovated rooms, but it was clean and spacious in the bedroom area. The bathroom sink was the height perfect for a five-year-old and had a sewer-y smell coming from the drain. Maybe they are trying to keep you from getting too close. Like some other reviews, you can't use the bath mat AND shut the door so decide what's more important. When you get out of the shower, you are greeted by your

I was fairly surprised by this inn. It was clean and the pictures shown online met the expectations upon walking into the room. The room was a good size for the king size bed. The only downside was the bathroom was very small. I laid the bath mat down but when I shut the door, it got stuck under it. So I had to rearrange the mat again. The shower had nice warm-hot water. However, I'm not sure if it was because the person next door was also showing at the same time, but the water was at a perfect temperature and then all of it sudden it got cold and I had to readjust mid shower.

This is my 3rd stay at the Kings Inn. It's a great spot if you are here for work a family San Diego trip. It's a quick drive to Balboa Park, beaches and Old Town. The pool is heated. The Waffle spot is delicious and the Amigo spot is such a fun spot to unwind.

Surprisingly good place, Kings Inn San Diego, considering it's affordable price and central location. Room was small but clean, comfortable and nicely decorated in a retro style. Pool was terrific and warm even in winter. Two good onsite restaurants and parking for car included. The good reviews I read before booking are true.

I booked this hotel solely because of the pictures they advertise on their website. My room looked NOTHING like the pictures. Granted, I wasn't going to spend much time in the room but I still wanted to feel the vintage feeling, which wasn't there. However, the room was clean and very acceptable in that way. I was just disappointed in the decor.

The room was clean and cute. The bedding was soft and comfortable beds! Staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the convenient location to trolley , affordable rooms and will be making 'The Kings Inn' our regular place to stay.

Was nice affordable place stay.only thing lack parking , noise coming next room day we stay also some weird smell coming from sink .other that was good place get some sleep
